A two-day Basic Psychosocial Training for teachers was held on 20–21 July 2026 at Palardi Model High School and College in Gournadi, Barishal, under the SHIKHA Project and the initiative of the BRAC Social Compliance Programme.The training was conducted by Bangladesh Psychiatric Care Ltd. (BPCL), with the aim of strengthening teachers’ knowledge and skills in providing psychosocial and mental health support within educational settings.The initiative focused on enhancing teachers’ capacity to recognize and respond to students’ psychosocial needs and to contribute to a more supportive and mentally healthy learning environment.BPCL is proud to be part of this important journey toward strengthening mental health support in educational institutions across Bangladesh.
