Dr. Mahjabeen  Aftab  Solaiman has graduated from Bangladesh Medical College in 2008 and completed MD (Psychiatry) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka in 2018. She has served as Consultant Psychiatrist at Faith Bangaldesh in UNICEF funding project. She has joined as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at President Abdul Hamid Medical College, Kishoregonj in 2019 and served  people of kiln area of rural Bangladesh for three years. She has joined at Ad-din Women’s Medical College, Dhaka in 2022. During her journey in the field of psychiatry, she attended as presenter in the 8th  Bangladesh Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (BACAMH) conference in 2017, 2nd  Research and Education Center of Bridging Asian Mental Health and Psychiatry (REBAMP) in 2020 (Tainan, Taiwan). She has also been awarded a scholarship on Leadership & Professional Skills Development of Young Psychiatrists in 2020 (Jakarta, Indonesia). She has several research works and publications. She has keen interest in old age psychiatry and general adult psychiatry.
