Bangladesh Psychiatric Care Limited (BPCL) conducted a mental health awareness program at Takshashila School, located in Shomserpur, Kolatia, Keraniganj, Dhaka.

The interactive session was attended by school teachers and parents and was facilitated by BPCL’s experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Dr. Samina Haque.

During the session, Dr. Samina Haque discussed the importance of child and adolescent mental health, early identification of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), stress management, and effective strategies to address common mental health challenges.

She also provided valuable insights into children’s mobile phone addiction, its impact on mental well-being, and practical prevention strategies.

The program emphasized the importance of awareness and collaborative efforts by parents and teachers to support children’s healthy mental and emotional development.
