Dr. Fahmida Ferdous(Nishu)

Dr. Fahmida Ferdous is a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist currently serving as the Clinical Lead at Nurture Nest, a specialized wing of Bangladesh Psychiatric Care Limited. She completed her MBBS from the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) in 2014, followed by clinical training in Paediatrics, which enriched her understanding of child health from a holistic perspective.She earned her MD in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Bangladesh Medical University in January 2026. Dr. Fahmida has received comprehensive training in child and adolescent mental health, with particular expertise in developmental disorders, emotional and behavioral problems, and family dynamics. She is skilled in various psychotherapy approaches tailored for children and adolescents, and actively works on child development assessment and evidence-based management strategies.In addition to her clinical work, she has been involved in research activities focusing on mental health issues in children and adolescents, contributing to the growing body of knowledge in this field. She is also a proud member of the Bangladesh Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (BACAMH).

Dr. Fahmida is deeply committed to promoting mental health awareness, early intervention, and compassionate, family-centered care for young individuals.
