Structured coursework
Theoretical foundations reinforced through lectures, case-based learning, video examples, quizzes, and assignments.
A QABA-approved, competency-based program that connects ABA theory with supervised, ethical, practice-focused clinical experience.
Led by Sabikun Nahar Keya, the program bridges structured ABA coursework with supervised, practice-based learning. Trainees build practical skills in behavioral assessment, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, data collection, documentation, caregiver collaboration, and ethical professional practice.
Theoretical foundations reinforced through lectures, case-based learning, video examples, quizzes, and assignments.
Observation, role-playing, data collection, behavioral assessment, documentation, and intervention implementation.
Professional boundaries, confidentiality, advocacy, collaboration, and supervision, guided by the QABA Code of Ethics.
Bangladesh Psychiatric Care Ltd. is an approved coursework provider of the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis (QABA) Credentialing Board. This Advanced ABAT Coursework is delivered under that approval.
Every module maps to the QABA ABAT competency standards, from ASD core knowledge (A1–A7) through ethics, assessment, and behavior reduction.
The coursework and practicum combine local clinical leadership with professional supervision and monitoring.

A structured, competency-oriented introduction to the foundational and advanced practical skills required for effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) service delivery. The program integrates didactic coursework, case-based learning, skills practice, ethical decision-making, data collection, behavioral assessment, intervention planning, caregiver collaboration, and supervised practice.
Introduces the science and practice of applied behavior analysis. Topics include behaviorism, behavior modification, operant and classical conditioning, conditioned and unconditioned reinforcement and punishment, the three-term contingency, extinction, spontaneous recovery, deprivation, satiation, discriminative stimuli, stimulus control, motivating operations, establishing operations, and setting events.
Builds practical knowledge of reinforcement and punishment schedules, contingent and noncontingent procedures, primary and secondary reinforcement and punishment, prompts, prompt dependence and fading, demand fading, pairing, modeling, errorless learning, and contingency interventions such as token economies.
Develops techniques for teaching skills to learners with autism. Coverage includes effective goals, task analysis, imitation, verbal operants, motor behavior, error correction, stimulus control and transfer, discrete-trial teaching, discrimination training, shaping, chaining, natural-environment teaching, generalization, maintenance, pivotal response training, positive behavior support, the Premack principle, behavioral momentum, priming, functional communication, PECS, TEACCH, social stories, video modeling, and visual schedules.
Examines ethical and evidence-based approaches to behavior change. Learners study behavioral terminology, positive behavior support, behavior-reduction interventions, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), the four functions of behavior, contingency interventions, and differential reinforcement procedures.
Explores the role of assessment in applied behavior analysis, including assessment purposes and types, methods of analysis, socially valid goal selection, environmental context, descriptive and functional analyses, reliability and validity, operational definitions, measurement systems, data recording, graphing, and interobserver agreement (IOA).
Emphasizes ethical conduct when providing behavior-intervention services to individuals with autism and related conditions. The module covers the QABA Ethical Code of Conduct, confidentiality, professional scope, positive-practice procedures, overcorrection, response cost, time-out, HIPAA, advocacy, collaborative intervention, IEP, and IDEA.
Introduces the core characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the primary areas of impairment, early diagnostic red flags, risk factors, diagnostic terminology, pragmatic and receptive-expressive language, sensory-motor development, social skills, joint attention, stereotypy, differential diagnosis, and common co-occurring conditions.
The practicum gives learners structured opportunities to apply ABA principles in real or simulated clinical settings under appropriate professional supervision. It emphasizes clinical documentation, observation, data-based decision-making, and the implementation of individualized behavior-support strategies.
