Sabiha Jahan is a seasoned Clinical Psychologist and systemic practitioner with over 18 years of experience in mental health services, currently serving at the Family Therapy Clinic of the Nasirullah Psychotherapy Unit, University of Dhaka. A dedicated researcher and practitioner, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Dhaka, focusing on the evolution of clinical psychology within the local cultural landscape. Her expertise is grounded in a robust academic foundation, including an M.Phil. and M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dhaka, and is further enriched by international recognition as a Commonwealth Professional Fellow at the East London NHS Foundation Trust. Sabiha’s clinical practice is multifaceted, specializing in systemic and family therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and psychodrama, with a particular emphasis on trauma management and relationship dynamics.

Throughout her distinguished career, Sabiha has held pivotal roles in both national and international sectors, including serving as a National Consultant-Staff Counselor for the United Nations (UNDSS-CISMU) and as a Program Coordinator at the University of Dhaka. Her professional reach extends into high-impact consultancy for organizations like Save the Children and ActionAid, where she has facilitated critical training in Psychological First Aid and burnout management. A prolific contributor to her field, she has published significant research on marital conflict, panic disorder, and psychotherapeutic interventions, and has presented her findings at major international conferences in Tokyo and Malaga. As a Full Member of the Asian Academy of Family Therapy, Sabiha remains at the forefront of clinical innovation, combining deep clinical insight with a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to help individuals, couples, and families navigate their mental health journeys.
