Dr. Panchanan Acharjee

Dr. Panchanan Acharjee is a psychiatrist working now in Chittagong Medical College & Hospital, Chattogram as an Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Psychiatry. He obtained his MBBS degree from Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College, Sylhet and completed internship there. Later, he did post-graduate training on Neurology, Nephrology and Medicine from the respective departments in Chittagong Medical College & Hospital. After 5 years of hardship, he obtained MD (Psychiatry) degree from Bangladesh Medical University (Bangladesh Medical University), Dhaka. He usually tries to serve his patients in best way with combination of evidence-based practice and bio-psycho-social approach. He tries his level best to remain non-judgmental and to ensure empathy to his patients. He continuously contributing to the scientific community with regular research activities, review activities in different reputed journals. He has several national and international publications.
