Dr. Noor Ahmed Giasuddin Sadi, worked at the Department of Psychiatry of Dhaka Medical College and Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) for five years after passing MBBS in 2001 from Dhaka Medical College. He Completed M. Phil (Psychiatry) from BMU in 2006. He underwent training course for Young Psychiatrists in Japan in 2008 under Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists (PRCP) fellowship. He worked in Mental Hospital, Pabna as Resident MO and consultant for 2 years during 2008-2010. He passed MSc in Mental Health Policy and Services in 2013 from New university of Lisbon, Portugal with a full scholarship from World Health Organization (WHO).In 2014 he received 1 year long training Global Clinical Scholars’ Research Training (GCSRT) Program on Medical Epidemiology from Harvard Medical School. He delivered scientific presentations in international seminars in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Portugal and Bangladesh during 2008-2022.He has more than fifteen scientific publications in national and international journals. Since 2010 he has been involved in teaching Psychiatry to medical Students.Currently he is Associate Professor and Head of Psychiatry Department of Dhaka Medical College & Hospital.He is felllow of Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists, and American Psychiatric Association, and Associate member of Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.His research focus is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Stigma to Psychiatry etc. He has been working in Psychiatry for last 22 years.
