About
Dr. Towhidul Islam obtained his post graduation, MD in Psychiatry from Bangladesh Medical University in 2017. After passing MBBS, he joined Bangladesh Civil Service, currently working as Assistant Professor & Consultant in the Department of Psychiatry, Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital. Dr. Towhid was awarded a bursary by International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM) to attend European School of Sexual Medicine held in Budapest, Hungary, organized by European Society of Sexual Medicine in 2019. He was also awarded a scholarship by Young Psychiatrist Network to attend leadership and professional skill training in Athens, Greece, in 2018. Apart from treating other psychiatric disorders, he has keen interest in treating sexual disorders such as premature ejaculation, Erectile Dysfunctions and Hypoactive sexual desire disorders.
