Overview
BPCL is hiring a qualified Child & Adolescent Psychologist to provide specialized psychological assessment, counseling, and therapeutic support for children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct psychological assessments for children and adolescents based on their emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological needs.
2. Provide individual psychological counseling and psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
3. Develop appropriate intervention and treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical needs.
4. Provide guidance, counseling, and psychoeducation to parents and caregivers.
5. Work with children experiencing behavioral difficulties, emotional concerns, developmental challenges, academic difficulties, and other psychological issues.
6. Maintain proper clinical documentation, case notes, assessment records, and progress reports.
7. Monitor clients’ progress and modify intervention plans when necessary.
8. Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, therapists, special educators, and other healthcare professionals.
9. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings when required.
10. Maintain confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards in psychological practice.
11. Support BPCL’s child and adolescent mental health programs, workshops, awareness initiatives, and related clinical activities when required.
12. Ensure compassionate, professional, and patient-centered psychological care.
Requirements
1. Minimum M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or Educational Psychology.
2. Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychology, psychological assessment, counseling, and therapeutic intervention.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with children, adolescents, parents, and caregivers.
5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
