Overview
Develop a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through an intensive 8-week Foundation Training Program. Learn internationally recognized assessment tools, evidence-based intervention strategies, and practical clinical skills under the supervision of experienced professionals. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 40-Hour ABA Foundation Training Certificate and supervised internship experience to begin their professional journey in autism intervention and behavior therapy.
Responsibilities
(Training Activities)
Participants will:
1. Attend all scheduled theory and practical classes.
2. Learn the core principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
3. Understand Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
4. Gain knowledge of internationally recognized assessment protocols, including:
5. Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
6. VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program)
7. ABLLS-R (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised)
8. AFLS (Assessment of Functional Living Skills)
9. Observe live therapy sessions under senior supervisors.
10. Learn child observation and behavior assessment techniques.
11. Practice therapy implementation through supervised clinical exposure.
12. Develop individualized behavior intervention strategies.
13. Learn behavior reduction and positive teaching techniques.
14. Practice data collection, graphing, and session documentation.
15. Learn basic parent guidance and caregiver communication strategies.
16. Participate in case discussions, assignments, and practical exercises.
17. Demonstrate professional ethics, teamwork, and child safety standards throughout the training.
18. Successfully complete all training and internship requirements to obtain certification.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• BSc/MSc in Psychology, Child Development, or Special Education.
• Passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to participate in practical learning and supervised clinical activities.
• Commitment to completing the full 8-week training and internship program.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Ability to work professionally, ethically, and collaboratively.
No previous ABA experience is required.
